Description

Green Chickpeas have a nutty taste and grainy texture pairing well with many other foods. A rich source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, chickpeas may offer a variety of health benefits. Legume is high in protein and makes an excellent replacement for meat in many vegetarian and vegan dishes.


Ingredients

  • Hamleh (green chickpeas)
  • 1-2 tablespoons water
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and rinse, then place them on a flat baking sheet, (if they’re fully dried from water) sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of water and some salt.
  2. Place under the broiler, keep an eye and once they turn brown steer them with a spoon a few times so they are fully roasted.
