Sambousek is the name for a very popular pastry that we make in Palestine and across the Middle East where you make your dough and stuff it with either meat or white Arabic cheese.


  • 1 bag puff pastry dough
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • oil for greasing


  1. Heat your oven on 380 degrees
  2. Cut each square into four small squares
  3. With a teaspoon fill in each with about teaspoon of cream cheese, place the cheese in the middle and seal it well in a triangle shape. Make sure to seal the edges well so the crème cheese won’t come out during baking.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
