Are you looking for an easy vegan snack to fulfill your sweet tooth during lent? Here is a recipe with four ingredients only No-Bake Dates-Oat Balls. Easy and quick, that both adults and kids will enjoy.


  • 1 bag ajweh (dates paste) 13 oz
  • 1/2 cup of quick oats (make sure it’s quick and not regular oats)
  • 3/4 cup of chopped raw almonds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • a pinch of salt


  1. In a bowl place ajweh, oats chia seeds and almonds, add a pinch of salt.

  2. Mix all ingredients well together with your hands until it’s more like a dough.

  3. Place the mix in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.

  4. With your hands take a small piece of the mix and roll it into a ball shape. Rub hands with olive oil if it gets too sticky.

  5. Continue until all mix is rolled.

  6. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
