Description
Maple tahini dressing is a creamy, nutty, and slightly sweet dressing that brings a perfect balance of richness and brightness to any dish. Made with smooth tahini, pure maple syrup, and a splash of lemon juice and vinegar, it has a velvety texture with a delightful harmony of savory and sweet flavors.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup tahini
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 Pinch of salt
- 3-5 tablespoons of water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add water to the tahini paste and stir with a whisk or spoon until smooth and creamy.
- Add the remaining ingredients— lemon juice, vinegar, oil, maple syrup, and salt—and then mix well until fully incorporated.
Notes
- Use High-Quality Tahini – Look for smooth, well-stirred tahini to avoid bitterness and graininess.
- Whisk or Blend for Smoothness – Use a whisk or a blender for an ultra-creamy consistency. I prefer to whisk the tahini with water first—don’t be alarmed if it thickens initially. Add more Keep whisking, and it will turn smooth and creamy. If you prefer, feel free to use a blender for a silkier finish.
- Thin it to Your Liking – Add water gradually to reach your preferred consistency, from thick dip to pourable dressing.
- Balance the Flavors – Adjust the maple syrup, vinegar, and salt to get the right mix of sweet, tangy, and savory.
