This Watermelon mint juice is a refreshing, easy-to-make drink perfect for hot days of summer. It combines the natural sweetness of watermelon with the refreshing zing of mint and a squeeze of lime.

Watermelon Mint Ingredients: watermelon, lime, mint leaves and orange blossom water
  • Watermelon - use fresh seedless watermelon
  • Limes - fresh juice of limes adds a great tangy flavor to this recipe
  • Fresh Mint Leaves - the flavor of the mint adds an amazing taste to this juice, using fresh leaves is highly recommended with this recipe.
  • Orange Blossom Water (optional), a touch of orange blossom water gives this juice an additional flavor, this water is also known to help with mild stomach upset and aid in digestion.

Instructions

Step 1 | Cut watermelon into squares, and place in the blender. Add mint leaves.

Step 2 | Squeeze lime over the mixture.

Step 3 | Blend until smooth. Stir in orange blossom water.

Step 4 | Pour into a glass pitcher or separate serving cups.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice instead of lime juice for a tangier twist. Keep in mind that lemons are more sour.
  • For a sweeter taste, you can add honey or stevia.
  • Add a cup of strawberries to the mix for a deliciously fruity flavor. Strawberries complement watermelon and add natural sweetness.

Description

This Watermelon mint juice is a refreshing, easy-to-make drink perfect for hot days of summer. It combines the natural sweetness of watermelon with the refreshing zing of mint and a squeeze of lime.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups of a seedless watermelon cubes (about a quarter of a medium size watermelon)
  • 10-15 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 limes (juice)
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional, adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Wash watermelon well before cutting.
  2. Cut watermelon into half than peal the skin of the amount you need.
  3. Cut watermelon into squares, and place in the blender.
  4. Wash mint very well then rinse.
  5. Add mint leaves over watermelon in blender.
  6. Squeeze lime over the watermelon and mint leaves in blender.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Stir in orange blossom water over the watermelon mint juice.
  9. Pour the mixture into separate glasses, or in a glass pitcher and keep in the fridge.
